A 1950s West German Mid-Century Modern bar cart (often cataloged in design archives as a Servierwagen or serving trolley) manufactured by Grünstad. Streamline German 1950’s service bar cart. Brass plated with original wood shelves. Great period streamline design.
The cart is dynamic, organic "looping" frame made of tubular anodized brass-toned metal. The shelves are typically reversible, featuring a lighter wood grain on one side and a darker mahogany or black shade on the alternate side.
Dimensions: 17” wide x 25 1⁄2” length, 22” high.
Condition: Age wear with little loss to the brass plating. Some wear on casters.
