Gurari Collections specializes in contemporary and antiquarian arts from the 17th century to the present. The gallery represents museum quality select contemporary artists. Areas of thematic specialization are in architecture + design, urbanism, the human figure, fantasies and follies as well as objects of the unusual (science and the allied arts). The gallery is interested in the intersection of art and science, or " the inventive mind". It is a kind of cabinet of curiosity.
Gurari Collections' move last year to our new location in Boston's South End has been a great success. The address is 460 Harrison Avenue, B-16, Boston, MA. 02118. The gallery's location is among numerous art galleries, artisans and design boutiques in what is known as the SOWA district. The space is modern and open and is in a renovated mill building from 1880. Our telephone is the same at 617-367.9800.
The gallery is open Tuesday – Sunday.
